Why can’t I find a flight I saw somewhere else?

What's bookable on Defera can differ from what other sites, or the airline's own website, show, and availability shifts from day to day. So a flight you saw elsewhere may not be bookable on Defera at that moment.

That doesn't leave you stuck. Searching nearby dates or times often brings up different routings, and if one specific flight really matters to you, our team can take a look.

Why would a flight show up elsewhere but not here?

Every site lists the flights it can sell, and those lists aren't always the same. The flights you can book on Defera come from our airline partners in real time, and what's bookable here can differ from what other sales channels list. On top of that, availability changes from day to day.

So a flight you saw on Google or an airline's website might not be bookable on Defera today, even though our results are live. Not every itinerary sold elsewhere is bookable here at a given moment.

What can I try?

  1. Search again with nearby dates or times. On Book, try a day earlier or later, or a different time of day. Nearby dates and times often bring up different routings.
  2. Check the "Operated by" line. If you're looking for a particular airline, it may be listed under a partner. A flight sold under one airline's name is often flown by a partner airline, so it can appear under the airline that operates it. Here's how codeshare flights work.

Can you look into a specific flight for me?

Yes. If a particular itinerary matters to you, chat with the Defera Concierge, our AI concierge, and share:
